Great app

Great app. Worth the money. Customizable exercise. Really well done

I love the website

I only bought this app because of the website. It has helped me greatly, so I have purchased this.

Best music practice app out there

Im a piano teacher, and I recommend this app to all of my students and colleagues. There is no better or more inclusive app out there. Some apps are a waste of money. This one is NOT. Its worth more than they charge (but please dont raise the price - my students actually buy it because its affordable). Seriously, get this app. Oh yeah my PS: INCREDIBLY customizable to ANY students learning needs, from the most basic beginner to the most advanced student.

Very useful

I bought this app after going to their website. So useful. Helped me learn ear training quickly.

A must for every musicians

I would highly recommend this application for every musicians. Tenuto is the tool you need to practice your reading skills and practice your ear. Only thing that is missing here is dictations, but I cant complain!

Fantastic App for sight reading & fretboard memorization

I have been using this app for a while now to retrain myself on sight reading, intervals, and improve my ear note recognition. Best feature for myself is the fretboard mode where you can drill yourself on note placement. Loses a star though as the developer didnt include reverse identification like they did with piano; a much needed feature for those drilling themselves for sight reading with stringed instruments.

Impressive

Best for iPad. You can easily make your training program. There are lots of setting. App can fit your habits. But sound quality.... When everything is going well, why sounds too bad?

It is the best app for training

It is the best app for training. Dont forget to turn on sound after correct answer. Itll help you train you ear memory.

Good

Really helps with training.

Great App!!

Sleek graphic interface, simple, complete, extremely useful.

Great app

Great app but i have one request: is that possible to add sight reading for transoposing instruments?

Il più completo

The best. With notation and keyboard identification completely customizable

Great, but maybe add a few things?

I love this app, and I use it on a daily basis to help me practice music theory. Although I am aware that there is a progress report option on here, it seems of the arbitrary to have to make one every day. I think that if the app offered a practice log option, it would make it a lot easier to see how much Ive practiced over time. I feel like when new users purchase the app, a practice log should automatically start with the date and how long theyve practiced, so that it helps to motivate the user to practice daily and also helps them track their progress on learning with the app. It would be far more organized and helpful for users to be able to have it as an in-app feature. Other than that, the app is absolutely wonderful and I definitely recommend buying it--after learning the lessons as a basis online and then applying the knowledge to the exercises.

Great app love it just 1 thing or more

Hi developers I love this app I use it every day and it helps tremendously in my piano lesson without this app I wouldnt be great at reading music but theres stuff you could do to improve your app for instance you could instead of telling me wrong when it says c flat and I answer it b that is right also you could give us piano exercises like giving us notes to play on a real piano and give us feedback after thank you I see good thing in this apps future

Its pretty awesome. Im not gonna lie...

Tenuto has been instrumental (ba-dum-tsch) to my theory training, and it seems to have every possible customization so that I can target and overcome my weaknesses. The one thing I really wish Tenuto had and that I would use the most if it did is practice with harmonic (chord) progressions!! Update with chord progressions Tenuto please!!!

Great app

Good app that helps you with your hearing and music theory.

Best of the best

I wish this had existed when I was a student! Adjustable in every way, easy to use, fun and accessible. I will highly recommend this to my students! This does more than other ear training apps that cost more.

Horrible for beginners

Good for practicing what you already know, horrible for learning what you dont, if youre a beginner , I dont see it being useful, Id recommend finding something that teaches you first and then you can use something like this to practice what you already know. Or if youre teaching someone and want to quiz them, because this is essentially an app for quizzing, not learnin If Im being completely honest Im feeling like I was fooled by all the " 5 star " reviews, I suspect a lot of them may be fake or posted by the developer.

Fantastic app

Use this all the time for fretboard note identification practice in alternate tuning like p4. Love that you can bookmark a customization of the exercise for quick configuration. Plan to get into the ear training functionality next, looks good so far. Wish this also had flash cards, for example to do jazz chord spelling with extensions in 12 keys. Currently using a flash card app for that to get faster. Great app overall.

App is fantastic but needs more options.

I use this app to study both guitar and ear training and it has been great so far. It gives me access to everything I need while being able to customize the exercises to a T for the most part. Thanks for the hard work guys! One idea that I do think would be good to implement however, would be to give a customizable option in the Fretboard Note Identification exercise for it to be centralized around just the natural notes of the guitar and no accidentals. This way you could test yourself on learning the natural notes on multiple strings instead of having no choice but to use one. You can currently customize both frets and strings selected, but the frets selected applies to ALL strings selected and of course, the natural notes to not fall in line on every string. This is a much easier and more effective way of memorizing the fretboard and I do believe that would make this app a top notch go to for guitar players. Thanks again!
